Aqua-Tots Swim School to Open New Location in Folsom Faire Shopping Center

World-renowned swim school will offer year-round lessons for children ages four months to 12 years, helping local families build lifelong water safety skills.

Folsom, CA — July 30, 2026 – Aqua-Tots Swim School, a trusted leader in children’s swim instruction, is opening a new location at 685 East Bidwell Street in Folsom, California. The state-of-the-art swim school will provide families throughout Folsom and the surrounding communities with convenient access to year-round lessons designed to help children become safe and confident swimmers.

At Aqua-Tots, a child’s safety is the highest priority. Since 1991, the company has developed a proven, progression-based curriculum that supports children at every stage of their swim journey from a baby’s first experience in the water to advanced swimming skills.

Aqua-Tots Folsom will offer private and small-group swim lessons for children ages four months to 12 years. Its eight-level curriculum allows each student to progress at an appropriate pace while developing proper swimming techniques, confidence and essential water safety skills.

The school’s small class sizes, including a 4-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio for many classes, allow children to receive personalized attention and consistent encouragement. Aqua-Tots instructors complete more than 40 hours of classroom and in-water training before teaching lessons, helping ensure that every class reflects the company’s standards for safety, quality and care.

The new indoor facility will be designed with families in mind and will feature comfortable viewing areas where parents and caregivers can watch their children learn. Year-round indoor instruction, flexible scheduling and convenient make-up lesson options will make it easier for busy families to remain consistent throughout their child’s swim journey.

Parents will also be able to use the Aqua-Tots mobile app to manage lesson schedules and monitor their child’s progress. Families who are unsure where their child should begin can use Aqua-Tots’ Level Finder to identify the most appropriate starting point.
